Okay. I know 5th June is like early last month and to think that I have the nerve to completely and conveniently forgotten to blog about my trip to the Singapore Flyer with my friend, Ms Bobo! Yeah. Tell me about it. Thank God I happened to browse through my photos file today and so happened to stumble across the Singapore Flyer’s folder, and now here I am trying to dig through my memory on what exactly did I do during the Singapore Flyer’s trip.
Oh ya. I managed to get 2 Singapore Flyer tickets for the price of $20.00; means that each ticket cost $10.00 only. Actually the original price of the ticket is like $29.50, however, thanks to my school and the Singapore Flyer for doing this promotion where the students can get the Singapore Flyer tickets for $10.00 and each student is allowed to buy 2 tickets only. Since I have been longing to visit the ferris wheel since forever, I decided to buy those $10.00 tickets and come to think of it, its really cheap and worth it if compared to the original price of the ticket.
So, off I went to the ferris wheel on 5th June with one of my really close friend, Ms Bobo. I was very excited because I always love watching and being close to a ferris wheel. I dunno why but ferris wheel always give me a sense of hope, if you get what I mean. In short, I love ferris wheel.
Anyway, the view is magnificent from the capsule. We shared a capsule with a group of Indian family, most probably tourists from India. One full ride around the wheel is 30 minutes. I somehow felt that its not really enough and they should provide us with 2 rides because we get busy snapping pictures of the mesmerising view during the 1st ride that we don’t even have time to sit down and just enjoy the view!
As I have mentioned earlier, the view are really magnificent. We get to see quite a number of tourist attraction places like Marina Bay Sands (the newly integrated resort), The Float at Marina Bay, Esplanade and The Merlion Park to name a few.
After getting out from our capsule, we were conveniently direct to the gifts shop. The mementos there are really nice to see and captivating but the price also cost like hell.
After browsing through the gifts in the gifts shop, we decided to head to the mini tropical rainforest that they provide within the Singapore Flyer premises. Trust me. When I said its mini, its really mini. Well, I don’t really expect much because its not the zoo or botanical garden.
To be continue…
